of transition metal catalysts with high crustal abundance and the industrial
synthesis of chiral drugs. The lecture was hosted by Prof. Qilin Zhou. After
the lectures, the invited speakers had further discussions with faculty members
of the college of chemistry while touring the campus. This lecture was attended
by relevant leaders and technical representatives of Asymchem.
The “Nankai-Asymchem Lecture” is an annual lecture held around October
or November. The lecture was founded by Asymchem and the school of chemistry of
Nankai University in 2014. Two speakers, one from the academia and one from the
industry are invited to speak in the School of Chemistry of Nankai University.
The purpose of this activity is to enable students to have face-to-face
communications with top-notch figures from both the academia and the industry.
