Introduction

        Established in 1985, the State Key Laboratory of Elemento-organic Chemistry (SKLEOC) was examined and accepted by the state and officially opened to the public in 1987, and it is one of the first state key laboratories of the P. R. C. Under the cordial concern of Marshal Rongzhen Nie and China’s famous chemist Professor Shixian Yang, the State Key Laboratory of Elemento-organic Chemistry was founded by Chinese scientists of older generation, such as famous organic chemist Academician Ruyu Chen and pesticide chemist Academician Zhengming Li.
