The "12th Forum of State Key Laboratory of Elemento-organic Chemistry（SKLEOC）Young Investigators" was held in the report hall of Shixian Building, Nankai University online and offline from April 24 to 25, 2022. Prof. Qilin Zhou, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, participated in the conference as a key researcher of the key laboratory. The meeting was presided over by deputy director Pingping Tang, and director Chunming Cui delivered an opening speech.
During the forum, each participants reported their main research work in 2021, and elaborated on research objectives, scientific significance and research ideas of their work to be carried out in 2022. At the discussion session, they fully commented on the scientific significance and innovation of the report, and put forward their own constructive suggestions on the significance of the topic selection and research ideas of the reporter's projects.
After the report, academician Qilin Zhou summarized the discipline layout and development status of key laboratories, calling on all researchers to do useful scientific research following the frontiers of science and facing the major national needs.
The forum has greatly promoted the communication and cooperation between all the researchers and plays a significant role in fostering outstanding talents, integrating research resources, enhancing the academic influence and competitiveness of key laboratories. The participants all expressed they had clarified their work ideas and future research objectives through this forum, which benefited a lot.
