Seven Scholars from the State Key Laboratory of Elemento-organic Chemistry Were Selected into the List of "Highly Cited Chinese Scholars" in 2023

On March 27, 2024, Elsevier released the list of "Highly Cited Chinese Scholars" in 2023. Seven scholars from the State Key Laboratory of Elemento-organic Chemistry were selected. Academician Qilin Zhou, Academician Xianhe Bu, Prof. Yu Liu, Prof. Liangnian He, Prof. Yongsheng Chen and Prof. Gong Chen were selected as highly cited scholars in chemisty discipline, and Prof. Qingmin Wang was selected as highly cited scholars in the plant protection discipline.

There are a total of 5801 Chinese highly cited scholars in this list, including 496 universities, enterprises, and research institutions, which cover 10 disciplinary and 84 first level disciplines of the Ministry of Education. This list is based on the globally authoritative citation and index database Scopus as the statistical source of scientific research achievements by Chinese scholars. And it adopts the method developed by Shanghai Soft Science Education Information Consulting Co., Ltd. This is the tenth time that the two parties have cooperated and has received high attention from domestic and foreign media and scholars. Elsevier has provided data support and technical implementation for this list.

The " Highly Cited Chinese Scholars" list released by Elsevier is not only committed to systematically showcasing the current distribution of talents in China's scientific research field, but also accurately presenting the composition and academic influence of advantageous disciplines in various institutions and universities, as well as top talents in key technology research and key fields.
