In order to further understand the application of large instrument analysis and testing technology in related research fields, familiarize with the distribution and functions of large instruments and learn how to solve the key technical problems encountered in the operation of instruments, the Key-Laboratory presents the "Large Instrument Application Technology Series Lecture".
The first lecture was held in the academic lecture hall of Shixian Building on March 11. Professor Xiufang Xu from the College of Chemistry gave a lecture entitled "A Quick Introduction to Gaussian Programs", hosted by Senior Engineer Yi Ma, the head of the computing platform. 160 students and teachers attended the event.
Professor Xu firstly outlined the basic knowledge of computational chemistry and then explained the use of Gaussian program in detail. In the discussion session after the lecture, everyone asked questions and exchanged ideas actively.
The computing platform will continue to carry out training activities according to the needs of the majority of users to help the development of scientific research work of everyone.
