At the invitation of associate professor Xiaosong Xue, Prof. Lei Liu of the Institute of Process engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, visited the State Key Laboratory of Elemental Organic Chemistry on April 3, 2021. He exchanged and interacted with the teachers and students of the Key Laboratory, and also gave an academic report entitled "Theoretical Research on Hindered Lewis Acid-Base Pair Activated Small Molecule Reaction" at 8:00 p.m. in Room 201, No.6 Teaching Building.
In the academic report part, Prof. Liu introduced the research on the reaction mechanism of hindered Lewis acid-base pair activation of small molecules based on high performance calculation, transition state theory, density functional theory and molecular dynamics simulation. There was a strong academic atmosphere in the venue. After the report, the teachers and students present had an deeply discussion on the details of the research and the progress of scientific research with Prof. Liu.
