Professor Shoufei Zhu won the "Asian Rising Stars Lectureship Award" of the 18th FACS Asian Chemistry Conference

    The 18th FACS Asian Congress held on September 12, 2019 in Taipei. Professor Zhigang Shuai, vice president of the Chinese Chemical Society, represented the Chinese Chemical Society in the conference and FACS Council. At the meeting, FACS academic award of 2019 was presented. Professor Shoufei Zhu of Chemistry College, Nankai University was awarded "Asian rising stars Lectureship Award".


The Federation of Asian Chemical Societies (FACS) is a federation of chemical societies from 28 Asian and Pacific countries and regions including the Chinese Chemical Society. The FACS Foundation Lectureship Award, founded in 1987, is the highest honorary award of the Federation of Asian Chemical Societies. It is awarded every two years in recognition of outstanding chemists in Asia and the Pacific. Asian Rising Stars Lectureship Award awards the new generation of scientists in Asia, commending their remarkable achievements in scientific research and hoping that they will become the future leading scientists in Asia.
